As part of my ‘Material world’ exhibition I created a series of sought after consumer items that have held their value over a number of years. The exhibition was designed to bring into question our attachment to material objects and the price we value them at compared to their actual worth, which is also an interesting theme reflected in the world of art.
The net worth of an object is not only determined by its material, but also by the time, love and status given to it by its creator.
